Corporate AV

In the earlier part of his career, Rowland composed many original and adapted scores for AudioVisual / Video / Multi-Image productions for museum and marketing suite installations, mainly for the production companies Triangle 2 and Good-Looking Pictures.

 

MUSEUMS:

The Royal Academy of Arts, London, Foster/Rogers/Stirling exhibition, AV installation celebrating the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank Building.

The Sainsbury Gallery at the University of East Anglia, inaugural exhibition celebrating the work of Norman Foster, AV installation.

The Royal Academy of Arts, London, video to raise funds for the construction of the Sackler Galleries.

The Dar-el-Hana Museum, Brunei, synchronised background music / video soundtrack installation throughout entire building (project abandoned).

The Royal Saudi Air Force Museum, Saudi Arabia, video installation.

The Royal Opera House Covent Garden: advisor for classic performances recorded at the Opera House to be used on fundraising video.

His score for “Messeturm”  (Frankfurt) won the soundtrack award at the 1991 American Multi-Image festival in New York, for the way in which music by Philip Glass was “extended and complemented by Lee's own operatic style”. (AMI Magazine).
